John Bowers founded Bowers & Wilkins in 1966 in Worthing, England. His sole mission was to create the World’s perfect loudspeaker. John’s passion for music drove him to create a musical experience, as if, you were sitting live witnessing the presentation. He is on record saying “The best loudspeaker isn’t the one that gives the most, it’s the one that loses the least”. His legacy has changed the way loudspeakers reproduce sound with unheard of realism.
John’s vision has even changed recording history! In 1988, Abbey Road Studios, adopted the Bowers & Wilkins’ Matrix 801’s. Bringing to the Studio the most accurate recordings to market.
