SHORE Smart Home is a Northfield-based smart home integrator serving refined homes throughout South Jersey and the Jersey Shore

The difference is in the planning. We coordinate technology with the architecture, interiors, construction schedule, and trades so lighting, shades, audio, video, networking, cameras, outdoor systems, and control are considered before they become field conflicts.

We choose proven platforms, document the system clearly, and design for long-term serviceability from the start.

From Shore Sound & Cinema to SHORE Smart Home

The company began in 2004 as Shore Sound & Cinema, serving homeowners who wanted better entertainment, audio, and home technology experiences. Over time, the work changed. Homes needed more than televisions and speakers. They needed lighting control, motorized shades, networking, security, outdoor living technology, whole-home control, and long-term support. As the needs of Jersey Shore smart homes changed, the company evolved from an entertainment-focused business into a full smart home company.

Today, SHORE Smart Home reflects that evolution. We still care deeply about sound, picture, and entertainment, but our work now centers on integrating the systems that shape how the entire home feels and functions.

How We Approach the Work

We do not approach smart home technology as a pile of products. The system needs to be planned around the home, the architecture, the interiors, the construction schedule, and the people who will live with it every day.

That means making the right decisions early, coordinating clearly with the project team, documenting the system properly, and designing for long-term reliability and support from the start.

Technology decisions belong in the project before walls close, finishes are finalized, and field conflicts begin.

Integrate Intentionally

Lighting, shades, audio, video, networking, cameras, outdoor technology, and control should work together as one coordinated system.

A smart home is not finished when the installation crew leaves. Long-term support, remote access, documentation, and serviceability are part of the design.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was referred to Shore Sound & Cinema, now Shore  Smart Home, by my friends who have used Neil and his team for years. From the moment I met Neil I was confident that I had found the right vendor for my job.

Then I spoke with Lori in the office and she was friendly, responsive and on top of everything. She kept in touch with me up to the day of implementation and when the installation team arrived —-on time—the first day, they were knowledgeable and efficient.  When the installation was finishing up, Kevin explained the technology to me and assured me they’d be there if I needed help.

Well, today—a Saturday—the main TV was not connecting and so without help, I would be SOL to watch the Sixers and Flyers playoff games. Not to mention the Kentucky Derby!!

I called the office and just a few hours later, Neil showed up with receiver in hand—-In plenty of time to prepare the Mint Juleps and check the odds on the long shots!

I have owned my own company for 23 years and am proud of the service we provide our patients and clients. It’s a pleasure to write a 5-star review for Shore Smart Home because they, too, understand and DELIVER customer service.

Didn't want to go the DIY route and "hope" I'd make the right equipment choices to address my homes requirements.  Decided to hire professionals who know what they're doing.  Neil was very personable and knowledgeable when he came to evaluate my homes needs and provide an estimate.  Both Kevin and Max did a great job installing the new equipment.
