In a panelized design, dimming and switching modules are centralized in equipment panels, reducing the number of conventional controls on the walls. Distributed systems place control closer to the lighting loads, while hybrid systems combine both approaches where each makes the most sense.
The correct design depends on the electrical plan, room use, decorative fixtures, keypad locations, construction method, and long-term serviceability—not simply the size of the home.
Keypads as Part of the Interior
Palladiom
Minimal, precise, and architectural, with a flush, unified appearance and refined engraved buttons. Palladiom keypads are wired HomeWorks controls.
Alisse
A more decorative and sculptural option, available in distinctive shapes and premium finishes for interiors where the control should become a visible design element. Alisse is designed for HomeWorks QSX.
Aviena
Aviena is a HomeWorks-only control inspired by mid-century design, with a striking retro character, tactile operation, and a distinctive architectural presence.
Sunnata
Sunnata controls are available for both HomeWorks and RadioRA 3, but each platform uses its own compatible hardware. On this page, SHORE specifies the HomeWorks version.
Light, Shades, and Scenes Together
HomeWorks brings lighting and motorized shades into the same scene-based experience. A single keypad button can adjust lighting levels, shift Ketra color temperature, lower shades for privacy, and prepare a room for entertaining, evening, or departure.
The homeowner does not need to manage every fixture and shade individually. The system is programmed around the way the home is actually lived in.
Ketra and HomeWorks Together
Ketra becomes most powerful when it is designed as part of a HomeWorks system. HomeWorks provides the scenes, schedules, keypads, and whole-home control that allow Ketra lighting to shift naturally throughout the day or transform a room for a particular moment.
